VIRGINIA BEACH -- The summer tourist season ends with Labor Day, so locals will celebrate taking back the beach the following weekend at the 18th annual Neptune Fall Wine Festival.
It's September 6 and 7 at the 31st Street Park and Atlantic Avenue at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront and celebrates the tastes and triumphs of Virginia wineries.
Enjoy your favorite wine or find a new favorite while listening to live music. On Saturday, performances will be by Duncan & Danielle Band and Cheap Thrills. On Sunday, Lewis McGehee and Borderline Crazy perform.
The wine fest is part of the Virginia Beach Neptune Festival’s 41st anniversary.
