HAMPTON-Stars of the NFL will be in Hampton Thursday for the Hampton Roads Youth Foundation's fourth annual Gridiron Legends Tailgate Party.
Among those attending will be Newport News native and Pittsburgh Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin,Indianapolis Colts Antoine Bethea, Baltimore Ravens Tyrod Taylor, New England Patriot Jerod Mayo, Oakland Raider Darryl Blackstock, Minnesota Viking Percy Harvin and many others.
The party will take place July 12 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Hampton Roads Convention Center in Hampton. Tickets are $25.00.
Celebrate the return of the NFL season with interactive activities, contests, win prizes, autograph signings, games, and fun for the entire family. Planned activities include player autographs, football drill stations, 40-yard dash, raffle giveaways and many more for everyone to enjoy.
Vernon Lee, HRYF Vice Chairman, says this event helps ensure the Foundation's youth football camp remains free of charge for the over 500 campers that attend each year.
“I look forward to coming back to the Hampton Roads area to celebrate another great season of football with our local fans,” said Mike Tomlin, Pittsburgh Steelers, Head Coach. “This event looks to bring everyone together for a fun time and provide a great fan friendly environment for the Hampton Roads community.”
The Gridiron Legends Tailgate Party is a kick-off to the 16th Annual Hampton Roads All-Star Football Camp on July 13 and 14 at Christopher Newport University.
