HAMPTON-Habitat for Humanity, the City of Hampton, Hampton Redevelopment and Housing Authority and hundreds of community volunteers are partnering to help homeowners in the Rosalee Gardens neighborhood make repairs to the outside of 20 homes this weekend.

It's called a repair blitz because more than 200 people will be getting the work done in one day as they help elderly, disabled, low income homeowners keep their houses in shape.

All labor and materials are provided by community sponsors and volunteers free of charge to eligible home owners.

Also, at Bassette Elementary School, the volunteers will be painting and landscaping on Saturday.
