NORFOLK - Festevents workers thumbed their noses underway Thursday for the 25th Bayou Boogaloo.  The Cajun foods may be hot but so are the workers setting up.

"We have about 36 Festevents workers out here and they are really pushing it in this heat," said Festevents VP Dominic Fini.

The crew was assisting New Orleans artists who just arrived by bus.  Their goods had to be offloaded.
It was all about staying hydrated for these workers.
"As long as I keep drinking water I am fine," said Derrick Fimian.  He just delivered a huge ice machine near the food vendors.  A great day for ice out here.
The Festival runs Friday through Sunday. Gates open at 5 p.m. and admission is $10 all weekend.  Visitors presenting an AT&T phone can enter for free.
