GLOUCESTER-A fundraiser planned for later this month to help raise money to cover expenses of Gloucester woman who needs a double lung transplant.

Julia Allen has been battling Cystic Fibrosis her whole life and she's now 31-years old.   The disease took her brother at 24 years of age in 2004. She is a single mom with a 7-year-old daughter.

She has been approved for the transplant and is just waiting for the call.

To help raise money to cover what insurance will not, there's a special event coming up this month. It's called A Breath of Inspiration. It's September 20 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Lighthouse Worship Center, 4299 George Washington Highway.

For more information, go to the Children's Organ Transplant Association's Website for Julia Allen.
