HAMPTON -- To help feed the hungry in Hampton Roads, Empty Bowls Virginia Peninsula, Hampton History Museum and Metro Productions will host Empty Bowls 2014.
Chefs from area restaurants, including Park Lane Tavern, The Point at Phoebus, Conch & Bucket, Schlesinger’s at Port Warwick, and Circa 1918 will present soups accompanied by crackers, dessert and beverages on Friday, March 21 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Hampton History Museum. Festivities, including live music, will continue until 9 pm.
Soup tasting, silent auction, raffle, cash bar and bowl selection will take place throughout the Hampton History Museum first floor.
Additional bowls will be available for purchase after the meal, and a portion of the proceeds from the cash bar will supplement funds raised for the charities. Potters and other artists donate their talents to make the event unique and memorable.
Tickets are $35 at the door and can be bought on the Empty Bowls 2014 Web site.
