Allen Stone Braveheart Memorial Races kick into high gear July 19

VIRGINIA BEACH -- The Allen Stone Braveheart Memorial Races will kick into high gear at the 31st Street Park on July 19. 

In addition to the run-swim-run, there will also be a 5k, 1-mile kids race and pull-up contest.

The event was organized in honor of Navy SEAL operator Allen Stone who was killed during traing exercises back in 1999. 

Money raised from the action-packed day will benefit the Navy SEAL Foundation.
