--With a little time and some saving savvy you can save up to a thousand dollars a year.
--Skip the morning convenience store coffee habit. By brewing you own at home you can save about $185 a year. And double that for two people.
--Instead of buying your lunch, brown bag just once a week and you’ll save about $3 or $150 a year.
--The average amount of change men and women carry is $1.28. If you save that every workday, you’d have $334 in one year.
--You can save $192 a year by using the library. Figure your savings based on two paperbacks and two video rentals a month.
--Use a discount drycleaner and you can save an average of $175 over 12 months.
So there you have it -- more than $1,000 in hidden money. Make the right investment and you could be walking on easy street.
