PORTSMOUTH - A Chesapeake man wanted for shooting a man he'd been arguing with has turned himself in after seeing his picture on TV, police say.

Bruce Edward Reese, 42, of Chesapeake, allegedly opened fire on the man at a home in the 4200 block of Sedgewyck Circle around 8:20 a.m. Sunday.

Police say he's considered a weapons expert.

The victim drove himself to Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, where he's in serious condition.

Police say the victim was staying at the home with three other people.

Reese also reportedly got into the home and fired shots, but no one was struck by gunfire.

Reese faces charges of aggravated malicious wounding, armed burglary and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
