CHESAPEAKE - A man robbed a bank in Chesapeake and was arrested in Suffolk Monday.
Police say Leonard Roulhac, 38, robbed a Wachovia Bank on Portsmouth Blvd. and drove off in a car that had been reported stolen from Norfolk.
Authorities spotted the vehicle on Hodges Ferry Road in Portsmouth and the chase was on.
It ended in Suffolk when Roulhac's car hit a Chesapeake police car on E. Constance Road.
Chesapeake Police report that he pointed a gun at the officer as he got out of the car. A Chesapeake officer fired one shot but didn't hit Roulhac. Roulhac was arrested in the woods by Chesapeake police.
Suffolk K-9 units recovered evidence from the bank robbery, according to city spokeswoman Debbie George, including currency, a handgun and a cell phone.
